KARHULA INDUSTRIAL PARK

Industrial activities at Karhula Industrial Park began in 1887, when William Ruuth started operations in the area. Karhula Industrial Park is Finland’s largest and oldest industrial community, which has been continuously active for more than 130 years. Karhula Industrial Park is located less than a kilometre from the centre of Karhula in Kotka, south of the E18 motorway. Premises are available to companies of all sizes. The current number of companies operating in the area is 60, and they employ close to 2,000 employees in total. The industrial park’s area is approximately 80 ha. The Karhula Industrial Park Society provides networking opportunities to companies operating at the industrial park and within the Karhula area as a whole.
